Malaysia Wrap Up

While we must admit that Kuala Lumpur was not our favorite destination (actually, so far, it was a least favorite), looking back, we did a lot there, and had a great time!

Here are some videos of different activities that we did during our time in Malaysia: 

1. Kuala Lumpur City Center Aquarium

This, by far, was the best aquarium we've ever been to. Our expectations were pretty low, but we were blown away by this attraction!


2. Batu Caves

Batu Caves are a series of caves naturally carved out of a limestone mountain that was formed approximately 400 million years ago! Inside is the most popular Hindu temple outside of India. We walked up the 272 steps on a boiling hot Malaysian day (a.k.a a normal day in Kuala Lumpur), and it did not disappoint!


3. Sapang International Circuit

We couldn't miss an opportunity to visit one of the race tracks that hosts MotoGP (we love motorcycle racing)! This will be a theme throughout our travels, so get ready!

Kon'nichiwa from Tokyo! Tokyo was our first stop on our round-the-world adventure! Just over a year ago, I found a "mistake" fare from Los Angeles to Tokyo for $100.00 per person. Scuba Diving in Phuket, Thailand

One of our big goals when we started on this trip was to get certified to scuba dive, especially because we had some amazing South-East Asian countries on our itinerary. We weren't exactly sure which destination we would complete our training in, but when we hit our first scuba-worthy destination, Phuket, Thailand, we were eager to get started.
