Heya.... Sorry about the lack of updates! I can give you 101 excuses, but I am not really an "excuses" kinda gal, so let's just catch you up!
I left off in New Zealand. We completed our stay of 25 glorious days on the 25th of April (the day after our 10th wedding anniversary!!). After that, we were off to Melbourne, Australia. We had fun, but to be honest, heaven would seem like a bore after New Zealand! Here are a couple pics from our short stay in Australia:

From Australia, we moved on to Bali, Indonesia! We stayed in a lovely guesthouse of a Hindu Priest and his family. Over the month, we became a part of their family, and they will always be a part of ours.

From Bali, we went to Da Nang, Vietnam. So far in our journey, we've only needed to get Visas for two countries: Australia and Vietnam. Both were fairly simple processes that we were able to do online in advance of our arrival. We were really excited to visit Vietnam, but we made a bit of a mistake arriving in the middle of summer. The temperature was regularly 110 degrees and above, so we weren't outside a lot during the day. We did, however, take a few days to travel up into the mountains to check out a bridge we had seen online, and it was much cooler in temperature. Here are some pictures from our time in Vietnam:

Da Nang had a lot of cool places to eat within walking distance from our apartment. These burgers were incredible!
We failed to get a picture of our favorite spot, as we would eat so quickly that we would forget to take a picture.
It was a traditional Vietnamese eatery, where I would get cold noodles with pork, and Cole would get rice, beef, and an egg. |
 |
| Cole made a friend during breakfast! We ate at the same place every morning, which was 10 steps from our front door! |
 |
| Breakfast! Da Nang is very heavily influenced by the French, so their baguettes are incredible! |
 |
| Also breakfast! This salad was so good! I ordered it multiple times during our stay! |
From here, we had a short layover in Singapore (just a few days--and we didn't do much of anything), then we flew to Europe. I will leave it here on this post and start Europe on a new post!
